Vitas bröllopsklänning i Damernas Värld

As you might have guessed Vita is a passionate button lover. And so are many others. There is a story about the wife of president Noriega, the former president of Panama. Her name is Felicidad Noriega and during a trip to America she stole – 27 buttons. Together with her lady friend she went to an exclusive store and inspected the garments very thoroughly. When they saw a button they liked, they simply tore it off, and put in their handbags… Unfortunately, for them, they were spotted by the surveillence-camera.
Reminds me of another great artist, huge in the 80′s; Christian Lacroix, only he was more colourful
Special treat for young customers at Plaza Athenee in Paris. This replicat of Bugatti type 55, from the 1930′s can run at 12 km/hour. Better book a room fast, before someone breaks the car!!

”There are no ugly women in the world, only lazy ones.” A word along the way from Helena Rubinstein.
I remember once I met with André Courrèges and among the first things he said was. -Aah, les suédoises…Aah, the swedish women, they are the worst to dress… I found it quite annoying, but it turned out he had difficulty with the blondes, not colourful enough according to him. Of course I disagreed, but of course I did not tell him..
Anyway, he made wonderful things and was a true explorer. There still is a very nice coffebar in Paris in his name,at Rue Francois 1er, with that true Courrèges spirit. All white! His house used to be at that address, but unfortunately it’s gone. , very close to Christian Dior, if you are in the surroundings. He made clothes, shoes, accessories, but I believe he was first of all a visionary man.
This man is the reason for the existence of Vita. To hear him talk about his dreams and ambitions in the soft voice brings back memories from Place Vauban in Paris.
